Our Food Pantry needs volunteers this summer!

• We are looking for one or more volunteers to drive our parish Food Pantry truck to Greater Boston Food Bank for three order pickups. We need a substitute for our regular driver on Wednesdays: JUNE 12, JULY 17, and AUGUST 14. Appointments are at 1:00 to pick up our orders of 3,500 lbs of food and deliver them to the Food Pantry.

• We will need additional help unloading food orders twice a month. Those dates will be the first4 ozweek of July (day TBD), July 17, August 1, and August 14, with the truck arriving at the Food Pantry between 1 and 2 pm.

• A volunteer is needed on Saturday mornings when the Food Pantry is open to help with new client applications and entering information into the computer database. The time required is from about 9 am to 1:00 pm on first and third Saturdays of the month.

• New volunteers are always welcome to join us to help with food distribution when the Pantry is open.
